Murals | Freskos
Public art is a reflection of ourselves.
I moved to Seattle to launch my art and mural design career in 2020.
Yep – during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic! Desperate for connection with other creatives, painting outdoors provided an avenue for self-expression, creativity, and connection with others who have also been grappling with isolation, anxiety, and uncertainty. Through this collaborative process of painting murals with Urban Artworks, I had the opportunity to connect with my new community in Seattle, fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose.
I believe murals are reflections of ourselves as they often depict our cultural heritage, values, and identity, showcasing our community’s unique perspectives and stories. They can also mirror our society, address social and political issues, and express our hopes, dreams, and emotions.
Today, I work with organizations, schools, and businesses in Seattle on mural projects of various scales. I use a range of styles from realism to illustrative, allowing me to adapt to suit the needs of each project.
My mural designs tell a story with a purpose. They are vibrant, abstract with a hint of realism, and entail mystical themes. I enjoy collaborating with other artists, especially those who share similar styles and visions for mural design and public art.
